| 1. When is Norbert Georget scheduled to tour in
our area? |
Since Norbert receives
hundreds of requests from all over North
America, he likes to book all the schools in one
area or province/state within a few days or
weeks so he’s not criss-crossing the country.
Booking your area schools within the same week(s)
also helps in keeping the travel costs down for
your school and for Mr. Georget.

What is the best and easiest way to obtain a date for our school on Mr.
Georget’s busy tour schedule? |
The best way to get a date on
Norbert Georget’s International tour is to call
our office directly, speak with Mr. Georget’s
Tour Coordinator, and make a formal request to
be placed on the tour schedule. The easiest and
fastest way to get a date is to allow us to
suggest you a date and time slot so Mr.
Georget’s tour flows together well. If you are
flexible (and call early), you are almost
guaranteed a spot on Mr. Georget’s busy
schedule. If you have a specific date that you
have in mind on when you would like to book
Norbert Georget (i.e. conference, special school
day/week, TAPP/CAPP day, etc), you may call or
fax the date you have in mind and we will try
our best to accommodate that booking date. It
may be best to check on the availability of Mr.
Georget’s s schedule before you go ahead and
plan out that special day. Sometimes we are able
to suggest to you a slightly different date
without affecting your event that much. But keep
in the mind, since Mr. Georget’s schedule books
up very quickly, the more notice we have, the
better chance that we have in booking that
specific date. The more flexible you are, the
more flexible we can be too.

What is the Secret in obtaining the Fastest Booking Priority and
Preferred Date(s) on Mr. Georget’s tour schedule? |
If you really want
to know the Secret: It’s Multiple Bookings.
Norbert’s schedule can accommodate two schools
per day (one school in the morning, one school
in the afternoon) With this two-schools-per-day
scenario, each school can be up to 90-120
minutes driving distances apart….this depends on
how many assemblies each school needs. The first
school will be booked in the first period in the
morning and the afternoon school will be booked
in the last period of the school day. That’s if
they are far driving distances from each other.
Therefore, we encourage you to call at least one
other school in your region to book the other
half-day. This will keep your cost down and it
will give your school priority for booking times
when there is a match set up by you ahead of
time. So the main key is: if you get 2-6 schools
in your region interested in booking Mr.
Georget, this will definitely get you on the
schedule a lot quicker. If you have many more
schools interested (6 or more schools ready to
book) in your region, most times, we are able to
provide you with tentative dates immediately and
start helping you with the final arrangements.
It may be easier than you think to get other
schools interested in booking Mr. Georget. Since
he is very well known as a powerful speaker,
these schools may be wanting to book Mr. Georget
for a repeat visit anyway. Or they have been
wanting to book him for the first time too. For
many schools, it’s just a matter of , “Hey
great, Norbert Georget is coming out here?
Thanks for telling us. We’re In! Just give his
tour coordinator our school name and have them
call me with a date.”

Would your Tour Coordinator be able to find a matching school for us to
share the other half day and expenses? |
We get many booking requests
in one day, so there may be a school in your
region that have already called, prior to you,
and they are eager to book right away. You’d be
surprise how many times we are able to match
schools up instantly with our booking data base.
Working together, between your school and our
office, there’s always a good chance that
another school in your area has already called
us or will call us within days to match up with
you. If we do find a match with your school, we
will notify you and start working out
appropriate dates for everyone. It’s that easy.

Georget, do I have to take care of setting up the dates and times for these
schools? I just don’t have the time! Will Mr. Georget’s Tour Coordinator do
that for me? |
Not to worry, that’s what
Norbert Georget’s tour coordinator is there for.
Since you may have done some of the networking
to get these other schools interested in booking
Norbert’s powerful presentation (be it by phone,
fax, broadcast e-mail or regional meeting), all
you need to do is just jot down the names of the
schools interested, the contact person’s name,
phone numbers and just fax or e-mail it to Mr.
Georget’s tour coordinator. She will take care
of contacting these schools for you and setting
up the dates/times and other requirements. We
appreciate you calling these schools initially.
You can leave us take care of all the other
arrangements for you. Your school may even
qualify for a special savings since you provided
our office with a multiple school opportunity.
Call our office for details.

How long does Mr. Georget need for set up prior to our assembly time?
What’s the length of his presentation? |
Mr. Georget always arrives at
your school one hour before the presentation
start-time for set up. He comes very well equip,
however there are a few things he may need from
your school. An equipment list and set up
procedure will be faxed to you well ahead of
your assembly date so you may prepare for these
simple items. A written introduction will also
be faxed so you do not have to do any homework
on how to introduce Mr. Georget. We want to make
this easy for you. The set-up time requested is
60 minutes prior to the start time of the
assembly. The average length for Norbert’s
presentation is 75 minutes….this includes
walk-in time and introductions. If you need 2
assemblies then we always schedule them back to
back….each assembly can be 60 minutes in length
with 10-15 minutes between these 2 assemblies.
If you have any questions about the set up, just
pick up the phone, call our toll free number
(1-800-293-9039) or send a quick e-mail and
we’ll have the answer to you immediately. By the
way, if you leave a message with our live 24
hour answering service, our office policy is to
return your call within 24 hours (most times
it’s within minutes) or we will return your call
at a specified local time that you provided for
us. We will do our best not to disturb you in
class or a meeting unless it’s urgent.

What grades does Norbert Georget generally speak to? Is the Smart Youth
Power Assembly appropriate for Junior High students? |
There are so many high school
grade levels across the country, especially
between rural and urban schools. If you’re a
rural school that has K-12 students, Mr. Georget
generally will speak to all grades 7-12
together. Grades 6’s are welcome, however, he
usually speaks with the grades 6’s when it only
goes up to grades 8 or 9, so the generation gap
is not so great. If you’re a junior high or
elementary school, then the grades 6-8 or 6-9
combination is perfect. The Smart Youth Power
Assembly is certainly appropriate for junior
high age level students. In fact, hundreds of
junior high/elementary schools have made it a
tradition for Norbert to speak with all their
junior high students before they graduate and
head to senior high. If you have any questions
about this matter, just call our office.

Does Mr. Georget have a separate parent or community presentation? |
YES! He most certainly does
speak to parent and community events. If you
would like Norbert Georget to speak with the
parents/community, we can schedule Mr. Georget
for an evening event. We usually book your
student assembly in the afternoon so Norbert can
leave his equipment set up and ready for the
evening event. This is a great way to get your
community involved with your special event or
theme of the day. You can have special guests
like the mayor, police, fire department, EMS
services and sponsors at this event. Of course,
if you wish and you have the seating space, the
community can be invited to the student
presentation during the day. However, from our
experience, there usually is a better ‘turn out’
at the evening event since many parents are at
work during the day. Plus, it’s best when you
can have your students run home after school and
advertise the evening session to their parents.
This is the best way to advertise the event in
the last minute, along with your usual bulletins
and notices.

How large of a crowd can Norbert Georget speak to at once? |
Depending on the
venue and the PA system, Norbert has spoken to
over 2000 students at one time. If you have a
good PA system that can be heard by a large
crowd, then that’s not a worry. Norbert does
travel with a small PA system, however it’s only
sufficient for 150-300 students and it also
depends on the size of the room. If you do not
have a screen, Norbert does have a large 10’ by
14’ portable movie screen that he can set up
anywhere in the venue location. Some schools
choose to have 2 assemblies back to back, which
is fine, however Norbert is confident to have a
‘pin drop experience’ in your school, even with
2000 students or more. It’s something to see and
experience.

| 10. What is
the cost of Norbert Georget’s Smart Youth Power Assembly and what does it
cover? |
Depending on your
location, all costs vary from region to region.
You will get a quote for your school only.
However, fees are based on two schools booking
on the same day. Since Norbert Georget’s tour
covers all of North America (and there are so
many cost variables involved in each weekly
tour), our office has extensive experience in
quoting you the exact cost for your school,
based on your location and the number of schools
booking in any given area. Based on a multiple
school tour, all fees quoted include all travel
expenses (hotels, meals, rental car, flights,
taxes, etc.). Other special fees will apply if
you would like Mr. Georget to make a special
exclusive trip for your school/event when no
other schools are involved to help share some of
the travel expenses. Some schools/conferences do
have special events with a specific date outside
of Mr. Georget’s ‘normal’ schedule tour in that
area and request him for that specific event. We
would be happy to assist you in making this
‘special event request’ possible if we can work
it out for you. Therefore, if you would like a
quote for your school/event, the quickest way is
by calling, toll-free 1-800-293-9039, and speak
directly with Norbert’s professional tour
coordinator. She’ll also be able to give
information on when Norbert Georget is planning
on touring in your region. You may also choose
to fax or e-mail your request. Please allow 24
hours for a response via fax or e-mail.

| 11. Do you
have any suggestions on obtaining sponsors? What have other schools done to
obtain sponsors? |
Over the years,
hundreds of schools have easily obtained local
sponsors to cover all (or partial) costs for Mr.
Georget’s tour expenses. Sponsors like your
local Credit Union, insurance company, police,
health unit/board, school board, local
business’, parent group, government grants, town
hall funding; large local corporations like
mining and forest companies, car dealerships,
etc.; civic groups like the Rotary, Lions Clubs,
Kinsmen, Kinette Clubs, the Legion, etc. Several
years ago, Sydenham Secondary in Sydenham,
Ontario (near Kingston) not only were successful
in getting dozens of local sponsors for their
own school, there was enough sponsor funds to
cover all the costs for 8 schools in the
Kingston region. Student councils, drug and
alcohol school groups, peer support and drinking
and driving awareness clubs have all raised
funds by various means within their school by
dances, vending machine sales and other special
events. Norbert Georget loves to see the whole
community involved. All sponsors are invited to
the assembly in order to be recognized and
thanked for their contribution. Some schools
have even thanked their sponsors after the
assembly by having a special Bar-B-Q lunch or
gift. Call our office anytime so we may assist
you in your sponsorship options. There may even
be a sponsor calling our office to sponsor your
school right now. Call for details.
