1.5 million students in 2000 public schools throughout Canada and the United States. Norbert Georget is an internationally renown speaker, student motivator and paramedic with over
23 years experience. He is the founder of The Smart Youth Power Assembly, a program offering counseling and motivational assemblies to students, parents, teachers and professionals. He is frequently on radio and television talk shows and featured in numerous newspaper articles across the country.
Norbert Georget started his career with M.D. Ambulance Care in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, as an advanced E.M.T.-Paramedic.
Twenty-two years ago, Norbert started
The Smart Youth Power Assembly as a hobby on his days off. However, today the program has turned into a full-time commitment speaking to thousands of youths across North America. Georget travels over 100,000
kilometers every year to speak with students.
Mr. Georget has been a keynote speaker at numerous conferences including The World Drug Conference in Houston, Texas, 1992; Canada's National Drug Awareness Conference 1987-1989 inclusive; Saskatchewan Safe Grad Conference 1985-1989 inclusive; Canadian Youth Against Impaired Driving Conference, 1990 & 1996; Nova Scotia Leadership Conference, 1995; several Ontario Student Leadership Conferences in 1999; Manitoba and Saskatchewan's Student Leadership Conferences in 1999 and 2000, The Canadian Student Leadership Conference in 2000,

A teacher in the truest sense of the word, Norbert knows young people and the problems they face. He speaks their language and they listen. He received the Saskatchewan R.G. Olson Emergency Medical Services Award in 1991, the Saskatchewan Safety Council Award in 1989, a Certificate of Appreciation from British Columbia's Counter Attack Program and he was the recipient of the 1988 Provincial Safe Grad Recognition Award in Saskatchewan. Norbert is an avid reader, water skier, downhill ski instructor, golfer and pilot.
